Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Step Down Registered Nurse (RN) in the Step Down Unit located in Festus, Missouri. This position involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinating effectively with other departments to ensure quality healthcare services.
Job Details
- Position Description: Provides patient care in the Step Down Unit utilizing clinical skills and adhering to established standards and protocols.
- Required Qualifications: Current RN license (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri), BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, at least 1 year of experience in a step-down setting, and the ability to work scheduled shifts of days, 3 x 12 hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neuro medical surgical patient populations; team-oriented, versatile, and excellent communication skills.
- Schedule: Days, 3 x 12-hour shifts with a weekly guarantee of 36 hours.
- Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluates the effectiveness of care by other caregivers, maintains patient confidentiality, and adheres to the organization's mission, values, and standards. Flu vaccination required from November 1 to April 1; declinations or exceptions are not accepted.
