RadHealth+ is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Dayton, Ohio.

Cardiac Stepdown/PCU RN - Miami Valley Hospital, OH
Unit Details
- 36-bed Cardiac Stepdown/HRRU
- Ratios: 1:4-6
- Epic charting required
Required Experience
- Stepdown/PCU experience required (ICU experience alone does not qualify)
- Must have CABG and valve post-op experience
- Cardiac Stepdown experience required
- Application must show experience managing a 1:5 ratio in a Stepdown/PCU setting
- Minimum 1.5 years of experience
- Level I or Level II experience preferred
- Travel experience preferred
Patient Population
- CABG, valve replacements, MitraClip, TAVR
- Thoracotomy, pneumothorax, hemothorax, chest tubes
- Advanced cardiac patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring
Required Certifications/Skills
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- IV starts
- Cardiac drip titration
- Telemetry/EKG interpretation
- Must pass online EKG competency assessment before start
Scheduling & Floating
- 48-hour contract
- Every other weekend and holiday required
- Traveler is first to float
- Floating within Premier Health facilities and specialty clusters required
