Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Job Description & Requirements

- Employment Type: Travel
- Minimum 2 years of acute-care PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry experience.
- Must be comfortable working with either PCU/Stepdown or Med-Surg Telemetry patients.
- Must complete the RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills assessment.
- Epic experience required.
- Must be willing to float within their skill set to other units or facilities within a 40-mile radius, as needed.
Schedule Requirements
- EOW: Every other weekend.
- EOH: Every other holiday.
- Floating: May be assigned to another unit based on staffing needs or floated to nearby sites within 40 miles.
Important Notes
- The facility accepts both Med-Surg/Telemetry RNs and Stepdown/PCU RNs.
- The traveler will be placed on the unit with the greatest staffing need, depending on their skills.
- Travel experience is expected/preferred based on the description; clarify whether it is strictly mandatory before submission.
- Confirm guaranteed weekly hours, as they are not listed.
