Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Step Down Registered Nurse in St. Louis, MO. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a Magnet and Teaching Hospital with a Level I Trauma Center designation. You will be part of a dedicated team providing high-quality care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
Position / Specialty: Step-Down
Guaranteed Hours: Yes
Years of Experience Required: 2
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS
On-Call Requirement: No
Floating Requirement: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs
Local Acceptance: Yes, within a 75-mile radius
Pending License Accepted: Yes
RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract
Special Requirements: Common surgical procedures for our patients include coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), mitral valve repair or replacement (MVR), aortic valve repair or replacement (AVR), aortic aneurysm repair, Maze procedure, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), heart transplant, and left ventricular assist device (LVAD) implant.
