Join a leading acute-care hospital in Louisville, KY, as a Rehabilitation RN. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced severe injuries or illnesses. Our specialized rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.
The facility strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. As a Rehabilitation RN, you will play a crucial role in the recovery journey of our patients.
Position Information
- Role: RN
- Specialty: Rehabilitation
- Patient Ratios: 1 to 7 RN, 1 to 10 LPN, 1 to 12 tech (C.NA)
- Required Certifications: BLS and active RN license
- Years of Experience: 1-2 years
- Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Amputee, stroke, hip and knee replacements
- Personality Fit: Critical thinker
- Required Education: RN - ADN minimal
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 12-14 bed unit
- Equipment: On-site EKG machine, bladder scanner
- EHR: Cerner
- Patient Population: Age 18 years and older
First Day Instructions
- Scrub Color: Royal blue scrubs
- Parking: Park on the outer perimeter of the building. Do not park in the front spaces as these are designed for our patients and families.
