Position Overview
Concord Hospital is seeking experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurses (Psych RNs) for a night-shift assignment at the Laconia Emergency Department Behavioral Health Annex in Laconia, New Hampshire.
This opportunity is ideal for nurses with acute psychiatric experience who are passionate about behavioral health and providing compassionate, patient-centered care. First-time travelers are welcome to apply!
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated weekly pay: $2,290
- Regular rate: $43/hour
- Overtime rate: $65/hour
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- No on-call requirements
- Local candidates welcome, subject to the 50-mile radius rule
- First-time travelers considered
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute psychiatric nursing experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current CPI or MOAB certification.
- Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate care to patients experiencing behavioral health challenges.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric nursing care to patients in the behavioral health emergency department setting.
- Assess patient conditions and monitor behavioral and clinical changes.
- Administer medications and implement nursing interventions according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow patient safety procedures.
- Adapt to changing patient needs and support staffing requirements across designated facilities.
Additional Assignment Details
- Floating: Travelers are first to float and may be asked to work at other behavioral health locations in Franklin and Laconia as needed.
- Patient population: Approximately 6–9 behavioral health patients.
- Time-off requests: Must be submitted during the submission process. No requests for time off will be accepted after an offer.
- Local candidates: Welcome; a 50-mile radius rule applies.
