Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location not specified. The position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH). The RN will be responsible for delivering patient care across MedSurg and Progressive Care departments, demonstrating skills in patient safety, education, infection control, and equipment operation. Flexibility across departments and willingness to work through the upcoming holiday season are essential.
Job Details
- Position Description: 25-bed CAH RN for MedSurg/PCU must be experienced in all areas and willing to flex in departments as needed. WA license must be ACTIVE.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid active Washington (WA) nursing license, Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in MedSurg or PCU settings.
- Additional Information: Responsible for identifying patient needs for education, maintaining safety, and following infection control procedures. Implements equipment troubleshooting and documentation, and ensures accuracy when documenting patient care and physician orders. Maintains supply stocks and communicates effectively with team members.
