Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830–$1,920
• Assignment Dates: January 8, 2027–April 10, 2027

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Progressive Care Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Florida
• At least 2 years of recent progressive care, PCU, or step-down nursing experience
• Recent cardiac nursing experience required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Degree accreditation or at least 5 years of nursing experience
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and complete 36 hours weekly
• Willingness to float to other units or affiliated locations as needed

PCU Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex cardiac, medical, and progressive care needs.
• Assess patients, monitor changes in condition, and initiate timely nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments safely while following established clinical standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Recognize and respond to cardiac, neurological, and other acute changes in patient status.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic electronic medical record.
• Promote patient safety, education, comfort, and continuity of care.
• Float when needed and perform in accordance with the expectations of the core nursing team.
