Job Details
- Position: RN Pediatric and Specialty Surgery
- Location: Joplin, Missouri
- Schedule: Night shifts, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ADN or BSN with Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS); at least 1 year of experience in a pediatric department.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse (CPEN) preferred, maintaining a safe patient environment according to American Womens Health and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), and American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines; experience with precepting new staff.
- Patient Population: Pediatric patients in a surgical setting
- Responsibilities: Maintain safe patient environment, assist with unit duties, coordinate staffing, provide call coverage, communicate effectively with healthcare teams, and uphold professional standards.
- Additional Information: Must be able to read and communicate effectively in English; basic knowledge of computer and office equipment required.
