Provides outpatient pediatric infusion care for patients ages 025, including chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood transfusions, and antibiotics. The role requires skilled medication administration and central venous access, including ports.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications; one year of experience; ability to provide care in an outpatient pediatric infusion setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Chemotherapy and biotherapy certification preferred.
- Responsibilities: Administer medications, chemotherapy, biotherapy, blood transfusions, and antibiotics to pediatric and young adult patients ages 025. Access central venous lines, including ports.
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Scrubs are required.
