ACLS, BLS, RN license, Covid card and 2 references required.
Duties: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with acute and chronic medical conditions in Med-Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings.
Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, evaluate patient conditions, and identify changes in health status.
Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry readings, and recognize arrhythmias or other cardiac abnormalities.
Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and prescribed treatments in accordance with physician orders.
Manage patients with cardiac conditions, respiratory disorders, diabetes, infections, post-operative complications, and other acute medical conditions.
Monitor patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, oxygen therapy, and other specialized interventions.
Assess and manage IV lines, central lines, PICC lines, wound care, and urinary catheters.
Recognize and respond promptly to medical emergencies, including rapid response situations and changes in patient conditions.
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate patient records and document assessments, medication administration, interventions, and patient progress using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and coordination of continuity of care.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols.
