Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN)
Department Description
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) provides direct care and influences care for acutely ill patients who are moderately stable but at an elevated risk for instability. The unit delivers care through advanced knowledge and experience in an environment equipped for advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions.
Experience/Education/Qualifications
- Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required.
- AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications required.
- Experience in PCU and basic EKG preferred.
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent is required due to regulatory requirements for moderate complexity testing.
Shift Information
- Days (0700-1930) every other weekend.
- Holiday coverage is required.
Minimum Years of Experience
1 year of nursing experience is required.

- ACLS
- BLS/BCLS
- NIHSS
