Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the progressive care unit.
- Monitor patient status and assess changes in medical conditions.
- Administer medications and implement prescribed treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting, preferably within a PCU.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
