The Registered Nurse in the PACU is responsible for monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia, ensuring their safety and comfort. Key tasks include performing assessments, managing IV access, and administering medications as needed. - CRASE Training (if assignment extends beyond 6 months)
- PALS Certification
- CAPA/CPAN Certification (preferred)
- Ultrasound Guided IV Certification (preferred)
- One year of Critical care experience or two years of medical surgical experience
- BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Conscious Sedation Certification (preferred)
