Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage for medication reactions, potential post-surgical concerns, and symptoms of possible disease recurrence — conducted both over the phone and via electronic messaging (EPIC)
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient education and assessment
• Support patients through their treatment course to ensure safe progression and continuity of care
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team that includes GYN Oncologists, a benign GYN surgeon, and Advanced Practice Providers
• Manage a high-needs patient population in a lower-volume clinic setting; nurse visits typically range from 3–6 per day within a clinic that sees approximately 30–40 patients daily

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience; at least 1 year in a relevant specialty
• Background in one or more of the following specialties: SICU, OR, PACU, Post-Op, Gynecologic Oncology, Triage, OB/GYN, or Oncology — note that solely L&D or obstetric-only experience does not meet the requirements for this role
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of candidate submittal; post-offer RTO requests may not be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Combined experience in gynecology, oncology, and surgical nursing is strongly preferred
• Experience with voiding trials
• Experience with central line/port flushes
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records
