**Exciting Opportunity for an RN in PACU/Preop!** **Job Description:** - **Position Title:** LPNT Acute Travel - RN PACU - **Location:** Los Alamos Medical Center, Los Alamos, NM - **Shift:** Days (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) with on-call coverage on nights and weekends - **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** Approximately 40 hours - **Call Requirements:** Must be able to report to work within 30 minutes of notification **Role Overview:** - Join our dynamic PACU and Preop team as an RN, where you will care for adult patients with a primary focus on: - Post-anesthesia recovery - Preoperative assessments - Collaborate closely with a small, dedicated team in a unit equipped with: - 3 beds - Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 for optimal care **Qualifications:** - **Required Certifications:** - BLS - ACLS - PALS - **Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years in a PACU setting - **Preferred Experience:** - Exposure to both Preop and PACU environments - **Common Procedures:** - Appendectomy (Appy) - Gallbladder surgeries **Additional Information:** - **Supervisor:** James Maxey - **EHR Systems:** CQI, Medhost - **Dress Code:** - Scrubs required - No open-toed shoes or fake fingernails permitted **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
