Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Post Anesthesia Care Unit. This position provides post-anesthesia nursing care during day shifts in an outpatient procedural setting. The role requires recent nursing experience, current licensure, and required life support certifications, with a focus on safe recovery and clinical care following procedures.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (PALS) certification
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field
- Procedural sedation competency
- At least 2 years of critical care experience with adult patients, preferably in a post-anesthesia care setting
- At least 2 years of clinical care experience with pediatric patients, preferably in an emergency room, intensive care unit, or post-anesthesia care setting
- At least 2 years of experience providing procedural sedation in an outpatient setting
- At least 2 years of experience with pain management injection procedures
- Additional Information:
- Assignment is scheduled from 11/23/2026 through 04/16/2027.
- The role involves post-anesthesia recovery and procedural care for adult and pediatric patients.
