Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) in the area. The role involves providing pre- and post-operative recovery care within a 34-bed unit specializing in gynecology, orthopedics, plastics, vascular, cardiology, and general surgery. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment supporting various surgical disciplines.
Job Details
- Position Description: PACU RN needed for a same-day program, with assignments starting on 10/26/2026 or 11/09/2026. The role involves pre- and post-op recovery care on a 34-bed unit, including phase one recovery at a 1:2 ratio.
- Certifications/Education/Experience: Valid BLS and ACLS certifications required. PALS preferred. A minimum of 3 years' experience as a PACU RN is required.
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, with shifts varying between 6:00 AM and 6:30 PM.
- Additional Information: No on-call or weekend requirements. Responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring, and recovery care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must be available to start on either October 26, 2026, or November 9, 2026, and commit through January 23, 2027.
