Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse (RN) Scarborough, ME. This position involves providing specialized post-anesthesia care within a surgical recovery unit. The RN will support patients in the PACU and Short-Stay areas, ensuring safe and effective recovery following surgical procedures during night shifts.
Job Details
- Role: RN Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
- Location: Scarborough, ME
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 6:15 PM to 6:15 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS certifications; nursing degree; 5+ years of experience in Post Anesthesia Care, Phase 2 recovery, or ICU background
- Preferred Qualifications: EPIC experience, Level 1 trauma center experience
- Additional Information: The role involves caring for post-anesthesia patients, including acute care and collaboration within a team environment. Successful candidates will demonstrate flexibility, accountability, timeliness, and teamwork. Dress code is scrubs, and healthcare professional attire is required.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Submission required: Candidates should be able to start by 11/01/2026 and commit through 02/20/2027.
