Experienced Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) needed in Cleveland, Ohio, for an evening-shift perioperative nursing assignment. Travel OR RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500–$2,630
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Assignment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Shift: Evening shift, approximately 11:00 a.m.–9:45 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call Requirements: Call coverage, weekend shifts, and holiday shifts may be required with advance notice
• Healthcare Setting: On-site operating room in a Level I academic medical center with 33 operating rooms
• Surgical Services: Thoracic, vascular, trauma, robotic, and other specialty procedures

Travel Operating Room RN Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse license eligible for practice in Ohio
• At least 1 year of operating room or perioperative nursing experience
• Recent experience circulating thoracic, vascular, and trauma procedures
• Strong knowledge of surgical safety practices, sterile technique, and intraoperative patient care
• Ability to work evening shifts and participate in call, weekend, and holiday coverage as scheduled
• Operating room scrub experience is a plus
• Successful completion of required competency validation and onboarding requirements

Perioperative Nursing Responsibilities

• Circulate thoracic, vascular, trauma, and other complex surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, supplies, and instruments for scheduled cases
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia professionals, surgical technologists, and nursing colleagues to support safe and efficient procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold surgical counts, infection prevention practices, and patient safety standards
• Support robotic and specialty surgical cases across a diverse operating room service line
• Provide perioperative nursing care before, during, and after procedures
• Respond to call assignments and support weekend or holiday operations when scheduled
