Registered Nurse - Operating Room (RN)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty with proficiency in various surgical procedures.
Schedule
This position is full-time, working Monday through Friday from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
Location
Atlanta, GA
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams with various surgical tasks.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes in conditions.
- Prepare and assist with surgical instruments and equipment.
- Educate patients and their families regarding post-operative care and recovery.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an operating room setting.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience with ENT procedures for both adults and pediatrics, facial plastics, and general surgery is preferred.
Holiday Requirements
The candidate must be willing to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
