Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Operating Room, Norwalk, CT. The position supports surgical services in an acute care academic medical center. Responsibilities include circulating and providing perioperative care across a broad range of specialties, including vascular, orthopedic, reconstructive, neurological, thoracic, obstetric and gynecologic, and urologic procedures.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. No on-call requirement.
- Required Qualifications: Connecticut Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; three or more years of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Scrub and circulating experience.
- Additional Information:
- Surgical services include vascular and hybrid vascular procedures.
- Orthopedic procedures include major and minor bone procedures and total joint replacements.
- Additional services include reconstructive plastics, robotic surgery, neurological, general thoracic, obstetric and gynecologic, serology, and urologic procedures.
