Job Summary
Operating Room Specialist general and specialized surgical services is responsible for supporting surgical procedures through scrub and/or circulating roles in a hospital setting. This position requires experienced professionals capable of working across multiple service lines, including orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, trauma, and various other specialties, primarily during day shifts.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Experience Requirements: 5+ years of experience in a hospital operating room setting, with level 1 trauma and academic medical center experience preferred. The candidate should be well-rounded in trauma, orthopedic, neuro, plastics/burn, gen/trauma, colorectal, surgical oncology, gynecology, gynecologic oncology, urology, robotics, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant services.
- Schedule: Day shift, 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week minimum, with the start date of 11/09/2026 and end date of 02/06/2027.
- Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing on surgical procedures, assisting with a wide array of surgical service lines, and floating across various hospital departments as needed.
- Candidates should have prior experience working in level 1 trauma centers and academic medical environments, with the ability to handle complex surgical cases.
- Submissions must be comprehensive, including verified certifications and adherence to all operational standards, to be considered.
