Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position in an outpatient and ambulatory setting. The role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a dynamic environment, supporting various surgical procedures including orthopedic, spine, and general surgeries.
Job Details
- Qualifications: BLS, ACLS certifications; active state license; minimum two years of OR RN experience required; experience with outpatient or ambulatory surgery preferred.
- Schedule: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Experience Requirement: Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience.
- Additional Qualifications: First-time travelers accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; open to floating within scope to meet facility needs.
- Responsibilities: Providing perioperative nursing care, supporting anesthesia and surgical teams, managing patient assessments, discharge instructions, and follow-up communication.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS.
- Start Date: 11/02/2026.
- End Date: 02/01/2027.
- Additional Information: The assignment involves outpatient, inpatient, orthopedic, spine, and general surgeries with specialized equipment such as Arthrex arthroscopy and Hana tables.
