Job Description: Provides comprehensive nursing care to medical and surgical oncology patients in an acute care inpatient setting. Responsible for patient assessment, monitoring, medication administration, IV therapy, central line and port care, postoperative care, symptom management, and palliative care. Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care. Recognizes changes in patient conditions, communicates abnormal laboratory results, and follows infection control and neutropenic precautions. Supports patient and family education while maintaining compliance with hospital policies and applicable regulations. Oncology and surgical nursing experience are required, and Epic charting experience is essential.
