Oncology Infusion Nurse | RN | IL
Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Oncology Infusion Nurse to join our team within a Cancer Treatment Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering chemotherapy infusions, blood, and supportive therapies. This role requires handling medications that are primarily intravenous, and the candidate must be an experienced Registered Nurse.
Assignment Details
- Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
- Assignment Length: 5 x 8-hour days
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2790 (negotiable)
- Weekend/Call Requirements: None
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy infusions and supportive therapies
- Conduct blood transfusions and manage anti-neoplastic therapies
- Draw labs from subcutaneous portacaths
- Remove home infusion pumps
- Perform central line dressing changes
Qualifications
Required:
- Registered Nurse (RN) certification
- Experience in outpatient oncology infusion
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy card
