Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have extensive cardiac experience and be prepared to provide exceptional care to patients with various cardiovascular conditions.

Required Skills, Certifications, and Experience

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• NIHSS certification is preferred
• 2 years of cardiac experience is required
• Experience in Med-Surg, Telemetry, or Step Down units is preferred
• First-time travelers with 2 years of cardiac experience are accepted

Job Details

• Shift: 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
• Available contracts: 36 or 48 hours
• Longer contracts ranging from 13-26 weeks are accepted
• Float may be required as needed
• Weekend coverage: 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
• No call is required
• Patient-to-Nurse ratio: 1:6
• RTO limited to no more than 7 days
• Willingness to work holidays is required

Additional Information

Contract staff may be assigned to a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team and may be required to report to work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters. There may be consolidation to a Centralized Office mid-contract, with possible reassignment to different units as needed.
