Job Details
- Position: Telemetry Nurse
- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS and BLS, 2 years of relevant clinical experience, valid license in applicable state (MO or IL), and experience managing cardiac drips, sheath pulls, and central lines
- Additional Responsibilities: Managing high-risk cardiology patients, including post-op open-heart, sheath pulls, and new tracheostomies, with a focus on cardiac telemetry care
- Patient Care: Typical daily census around 30 patients in a unit with 34 beds, managing diverse cardiac diagnoses with interdisciplinary support
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required, with ACLS required for certain locations at the time of contract signing
- Open to First-time Travelers: Yes
- Float: Float rotation may be required within scope to meet facility needs
- Location: The assignment is at an acute care hospital serving a high-acuity cardiology telemetry unit
