Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse for an inpatient Rehabilitation unit. The RN will provide patient care and manage tracheostomy needs, with respiratory therapy available for support.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to rehabilitation patients and monitor changes in condition.
- Perform tracheostomy care and management independently as part of the RN role.
- Provide oxygen therapy and non-invasive airway management.
- Respond to emergencies and participate in rapid response or code team activities.
- Provide IV therapy and peripheral line care as needed.
- Float to inpatient Medical-Surgical units when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience.
- Rehabilitation, LTAC, or SNF experience accepted.
- Inpatient Medical-Surgical experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- Epic charting experience.
- Experience with patient ratios of approximately 1:5–7.
- First-time travelers accepted; candidates with 2 years of experience may be considered for screening if they have not traveled previously.
- Active license required; pending licenses are not accepted.
