Behavioral Health RN – Inpatient Psychiatry
📍 Location: 2600 SW Holden St, Seattle, WA 98126
🕐 Shift: 12-hour day shifts
⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
💻 EMR: EPIC
🏥 Unit: Adult Inpatient Behavioral Health
🛏️ Beds: 70 combined across the 2nd and 3rd floors
👕 Scrubs: Any color, professional attire
Job Details
- Provide care to adult behavioral health patients aged 18 and older.
- Work in an inpatient/involuntary treatment setting.
- Assess patients’ behavioral health needs and recognize when medical evaluation or treatment requires transfer to a medical hospital.
- Must be able to assume charge nurse duties when needed.
- Float between the 2nd and 3rd floors.
- First-time travelers are accepted.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of similar experience in an involuntary or inpatient treatment facility.
- Behavioral health experience required.
- BLS certification required.
- CPI or MOAB de-escalation certification required.
- Must be comfortable assuming charge responsibilities.
