IMCU/Step Down Registered Nurse (RN)
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IMCU/Step Down Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This position is vital for providing high-quality care to patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering cardiac drips and managing post-cath lab procedural care.
- Deliver specialized care for patients with tracheostomy and ventilatory support needs.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in patient and family education regarding care plans and treatments.
Schedule & Requirements:
- Shift: Days (3x12-Hour: 07:00 - 19:00)
- Weekend shifts required: Yes (6 shifts per schedule period)
- Patient Ratios: 1:4
- Floating between units may be required.
- 48 hours approved.
Dress Code:
Licensed nursing personnel are required to wear solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire. Scrub tops may include colored piping. Print tops are generally not acceptable.
Parking:
Free parking is available in unrestricted spaces. Please utilize any surface parking lots designated as ‘Employee/Visitor Parking’.
