Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our progressive care ICU team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in step-down care and be able to provide high-quality patient care in a demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a step-down unit, ensuring stability and monitoring of vital signs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in patient and family education to support health and wellness.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH.
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required.
- No first-time travelers will be considered for this position.
Shift Information
This position requires night shifts, working 3 x 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15. Weekend shifts will be required every two weeks.
