Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Marble Falls, Texas.
Job Description & Requirements

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Position: PACU / Recovery Room RN.
- Prior PACU or post-anesthesia recovery experience required; minimum years are not specified.
- Must be competent in:
- Immediate post-anesthesia patient assessment and monitoring.
- Postoperative and post-procedural nursing care.
- Pain management.
- Evaluating patient responses to treatment and interventions.
- Anticipating procedure-specific recovery needs.
- Following AORN/ASPAN aseptic and sterile technique standards.
- Pre-Op experience preferred, as the traveler may assist in both departments.
- Cerner Compass experience preferred; not explicitly listed as mandatory.
SCHEDULE
- Shift: Days, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM.
- Working days: Monday–Friday.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
- BLS – Required.
- ACLS – Required.
- PALS – Required.
- ASPAN certification preferred but not mandatory.
LICENSE
- Active Texas RN license or valid multistate/compact RN license required.
