Job description
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Lumberton, North Carolina.

Details
- PACU RN – Lumberton, NC
- 40 hours per week
- 8-hour day shifts
- Monday–Friday, primarily 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; shift times may vary based on need
- Weeknight call: 1 night every 4 weeks, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Weekend call: Every 4th weekend
- Holiday rotation required
- Rotate throughout Pre-Op, PACU Phase 1, and Phase 2
- Pediatric and adult patient populations
- Case types include GYN, general surgery, robotics, bariatrics, urology, ortho/spine, podiatry, cataracts, ENT, endoscopy, and vascular
- Patient ratios: Pre-Op 1:3–1:4, Phase 1 1:2, Phase 2 1:4
- Epic EMR; Alaris IV pumps; Pyxis medication dispensing
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of PACU experience
- Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- BLS certification through AHA or ARC
- ACLS, PALS, and CPI/MOAB required
- All required certifications must be in hand prior to submission
- Experience with all listed case types required
- Critical care experience, including ICU-level patients, hemodynamic drips, and ventilated patients
- Must be comfortable with Pre-Op, recovery, discharge, and boarding patients when inpatient beds are unavailable
- Experience with IV insertion, ventilator management, epidural/PCA setup and initiation, and blood product transfusions
- Must be comfortable floating between Pre-Op, PACU Phase 1, and Phase 2
