Job Summary
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) position with a Michigan licensure requirement. The role focuses on monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia, managing airways and post-operative symptoms, assessing for complications, and coordinating care with the healthcare team.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); Michigan state licensure; 2 years of Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience.
- Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include continuous monitoring of vital signs and consciousness levels, airway management, medication administration, pain and symptom management, surgical-site assessments, recognition of adverse reactions, emergency intervention, clinical documentation, and communication with the healthcare team. On-call and weekend availability may be required.
