Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Exeter, New Hampshire
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750–$2,890
• Assignment Type: 13-week travel nurse contract
• Start Date: December 7, 2026
• End Date: March 6, 2027
• Schedule: Approximately 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly; guaranteed hours do not include on-call time
• Float Requirement: No floating required

Operating Room Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, including a Massachusetts license at the time of submission
• At least 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
• Recent travel nursing experience required
• Trauma hospital experience and experience in a similar hospital setting required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Flu vaccination required before the start date
• Availability for a travel nursing assignment; local candidates are not eligible

Operating Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care throughout the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
• Prepare operating rooms, surgical supplies, equipment, and instrumentation for scheduled procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the broader healthcare team to promote safe and efficient procedures
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and follow surgical safety, infection prevention, and clinical documentation standards
• Monitor patients, anticipate surgical team needs, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Support high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment with the clinical standards expected of a trauma hospital
• Participate in on-call coverage as assigned; on-call hours are not included in the guaranteed hours
