Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Operating Room. The role provides comprehensive nursing care by assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team. The position is scheduled for evening shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts, with on-call responsibilities as required.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Current Illinois Registered Nurse license; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Schedule: Evening shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with on-call responsibilities as required.
- Responsibilities: Assess patients mental, physical, and spiritual needs; assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care; provide explanations and instructions to patients or responsible persons; use nursing clinical judgment to recognize and report changes in patient condition; manage conflict through professional communication; meet core measure responsibilities; participate in continuing education; and maintain complete and accurate medical records.
