Job Description
Join a collaborative surgical team at a premier 586-bed Level II Trauma Center in Topeka, Kansas. Registered Nurses will support a high-volume Operating Room, circulating routine, urgent, and complex trauma procedures in a dynamic clinical environment. This opportunity features a consistent 36-hour weekly schedule utilizing Epic EMR in a modern healthcare facility.
Requirements
1–2 years of recent OR circulating experience in an acute care setting
Active Kansas RN License or Compact/Multistate RN License
Active AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
Flexibility to support unit needs including required weekend and on-call shifts
Essential clinical competencies in pre- and post-operative surgical circulation on Day 1
Preferred Qualifications
Previous travel contract experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center setting
Proficiency with Epic EMR software
Advanced surgical circulating experience in orthopedics, general surgery, and complex trauma
Level 1 Job ID #19827. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
