Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Vermont.

Job Summary
Primary Duties:
- Perform Colonoscopy and Upper GI Endoscopy procedures.
- Conduct Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal).
- Excise soft tissue masses (lipomas, cysts).
- Perform open and laparoscopic inguinal, umbilical, and incisional hernia repairs.
- Conduct excisional biopsies.
- Perform hemorrhoid procedures.
- Participate in oncologic surgery for breast or colon cancer.
- Conduct antireflux surgery.
- Perform skin grafting procedures.
Work Schedule:
- Coverage required on Thanksgiving Day, Friday after, and following weekend.
- Coverage required from Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend.
- Coverage required on New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, and the following weekend.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of recent operating room (OR) experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience as a circulator with strong orthopedic background.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
Profile Requirements:
- Valid Vermont RN license or Compact nursing license.
- Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
Certification Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
Licensing Requirements:
- Must hold a Vermont RN license or a Compact State RN license.
Med Ninjas Job ID #18826. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
