Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) Nurse in the United States This position involves providing specialized care within the surgical environment, supporting multi-service operating rooms. The role requires hands-on patient care and collaboration with surgical teams during scheduled shifts.
Job Details
- Certifications required upon hire include: RN Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact, and BLS Basic Life Support or ARC American Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I Basic Life Support Instructor.
- Education Requirements: Completion of an accredited or approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours.
- Years of Experience: 2.0 years in a similar setting.
- Schedule: Dayshift, 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Shift options include 6:45 am - 5:15 pm or 10:45 am - 9:15 pm.
- Role Responsibilities: Providing direct patient care in the operating room, supporting surgical procedures, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Additional Requirements: Experience as an OR Circulator with 2-3 years in a multi-service operating room. Hospital provided scrubs are required.
- Submission instructions: Interested candidates must meet all above qualifications and submit necessary credential documentation upon application.
- Float: Float rotation may be required.
