About Facility:
- 900+ licensed beds
- Level 1 Trauma Designation
- Level 1 Pediatric Trauma – Levine Children's Hospital
- Teaching Hospital
- Chest Pain Center
- Stroke Center
- Magnet Designation
Department Information:
- 11 ORs
Minimum Years of Experience required:
- RN: 1 year
- Surg Tech: 2 years
Will you accept a first-time traveler:
- RN: Will consider with strong experienc
- Surg Tech: Will consider with strong experience
Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
- Will see all service lines except Neuro and Cardiovascular Thoracic
- All ages
Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance
- RN: BLS
- Surg Tech: BLS; National Certification preferred
- Graduation from an accredited school or Military training is accepted
Skills required:
- RN: Prefer Epic experience, prefer skillset that includes multiple service lines
- Surg Tech: prefer skillset that includes multiple service lines
Support within the Department:
- Clinical Supervisors and Charge nurses
Technology/Equipment:
- EMR: EPIC
- Department specific Equipment: Davinci XI
Floating:
- No
Orientation (facility and unit):
- Depends on experience
- NEO
- 2 days departmental
Scheduling:
- No weekends
- No call
- No holidays
- RTO: Manager approval
- Shift times: 0630-1700 or 0630-1900
- Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
