Registered Nurse (RN) - OR General
Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room (OR) General will deliver exceptional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. This position requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of nursing practice. The RN will function in accordance with established policies, mission, and standards as defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to uphold professional nursing practice standards.
- Perform functions in alignment with organizational policies and professional guidelines.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in the Operating Room (OR) and Endoscopy (ENDO) required.
- Proficient in circulating during surgeries is required.
- Experience in Orthopedic, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro surgical procedures is required.
- Trauma Level II experience is preferred.
Certification Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
Licensure
- Active state nursing license required in Michigan at the time of application.
