Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver high-quality nursing care through the application of the nursing process. This role requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals to uphold standards of professional nursing practice. The RN will perform functions in alignment with organizational policies, mission, and established standards as defined by regulatory frameworks.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide quality nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing standards.
- Adhere to policies and practices in accordance with professional and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an OR Circulating Nurse (REQUIRED)
- PACU experience (PREFERRED)
- Experience in Orthopedics, OB-GYN, and General Surgery (REQUIRED)
- Experience in Urology and Ophthalmic procedures (PREFERRED)
- Prior travel nursing experience (PREFERRED)
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Michigan (ACTIVE required at time of submission)
Certification Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is required.
Availability
This position offers a guaranteed 36 hours per week, with shifts from Monday to Thursday, 0700 to 1630. Weekend on-call requirements include being on call for 10-11 days each month.
