Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our inpatient oncology unit. This role involves providing comprehensive care to patients with cancer and blood disorders in a telemetry setting.
Job Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Scheduling: Night shifts (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Floating Requirement: Yes
Required Certifications
- Massachusetts nursing license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Basic Life Support (BCLS)
Preferred Certifications
- Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC)
- Oncology Certification (OCN)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Ability to administer chemotherapy and start IVs
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system
- Experience with telemetry and patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pumps, blood warmers, bladder scans, and Baxter pumps
- Experience caring for patients with leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, solid tumors, and those enrolled in clinical trials
- First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
