Assignment Highlights
- Radiation Oncology department
- Travel candidates only
- Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible
- Must be able to administer chemotherapy
- Holiday coverage required
🩺 Your Role
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients.
- Administer chemotherapy safely according to established protocols.
- Monitor patients for treatment responses, side effects, and complications.
- Educate patients and families about treatments and symptom management.
- Collaborate with the oncology team and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
✅ Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Oncology nursing experience.
- Active RN license applicable to the assignment.
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Chemotherapy certification required.
- Must have experience administering chemotherapy.
📌 Important Contract Requirements
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
- Must also work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
- Compliance documents are due by Wednesday before the Monday start date.
- Badge photo requirement applies.
