Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse located in North Austin. This 13-week assignment involves providing specialized care on a busy level 3 NICU unit. The position requires a dedicated professional to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details
- Position: RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Location: North Austin
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum of 2 years of NICU experience in a Level 3 NICU; certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); at least 1 year of recent NICU experience; ability to work nights; location flexibility or requirement: 1 year.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Medfusion pumps, Alaris, GiraffeIslolette, GE monitors; familiarity with electronic medical records, including CP, Meditech; strong interpersonal skills, friendly, outgoing, compassionate personality; team-oriented approach.
- Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive neonatal nursing care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, utilize specialized equipment, adhere to unit policies including dress code of navy scrubs, and follow safety and infection control protocols.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must submit current licensure, certifications, and proof of experience.
