Travel (RN) / Neuro Spine Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Trauma)

START ASAP DURATION: 13 Weeks

SHIFT: Nights 7P-7A; every other weekend required 4x12s

CALL REQUIREMENTS: None or voluntary

FLOATING REQUIRED: Yes, to any other med-surg or tele units

BLOCK SCHEDULING: Block schedule accepted as long as it accommodates every other weekend. 

REQUIREMENTS: RN IN licensure ACLS, BLS, 

NIHSS - Can obtain during 1st week of orientation

REQUIRED SKILLS: Expert in neuro assessments, critical thinking skills, drain management, and post-surgical care, chest tube, groin site management post IR

1-2 years' experience

EMR: Cerner

SCOPE OF ROLE: Higher Med-Surg acuity with post-op Neuro/spinal surgeries and Level 2 Trauma patients and Level 1 Trauma post-ICU care. Stroke patients and other diagnoses like DKA, renal failure, and general post op care
