This on-site travel nursing opportunity offers a four-week contract in a dynamic float-pool environment, where you will care for adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients while building experience across diverse clinical assignments. Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470–$2,600
• Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry
• Healthcare Setting: On-site float pool supporting Med/Surg and Telemetry assignments
• Location: Newburyport, Massachusetts
• Start Date: February 2, 2027
• Contract Duration: 4 weeks, through February 27, 2027
• Nursing Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.
• Expected Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week, with 72 guaranteed hours every two weeks
• Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling with coordination to support unit coverage

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Massachusetts
• At least 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience; telemetry nursing experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong patient assessment, prioritization, and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to provide safe, efficient patient care in a rotating 12-hour shift environment
• Adaptability when supporting medical-surgical and telemetry patient assignments

Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, recognize changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Perform nursing assessments, administer medications, and implement individualized care plans
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with nursing and facility standards
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge needs
• Adapt efficiently to assignments across Med/Surg and Telemetry units while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care
