Job Title: Travel RN – Med Surg/Telemetry
Location: UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s, Sioux City, Iowa
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days – 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
Job Description: Seeking an experienced Travel RN for a 13-week contract in a Med Surg/Telemetry unit caring for cardiac, stroke, and general medical patients. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, cardiac monitoring, and documentation using EPIC EMR. Must have experience titrating Cardizem, Nitro, Heparin, and Amiodarone.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Active Iowa or Compact RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- EPIC EMR proficiency
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Willingness to float between local campuses as needed
Med Ninjas Job ID #19680. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
