Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) needed in the healthcare organizations facility. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, with a focus on medical-surgical and telemetry services, ensuring safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care from admission to discharge.
Job Details
- Certifications: California RN License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Education Requirements: Valid California RN License
- Experience: At least 2 years of clinical experience in Medical Surgical with Telemetry nursing; experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations; proficiency with charting using Epic preferred; travel experience required
- Schedule: Days shift, 8-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Float: Float rotation may be required. May float to other units within scope of practice, including alternative campuses, with notice of approximately 1.5 hours prior to shift start.
- Responsibilities include managing patient care, responding to emergencies, and coordinating interdisciplinary support such as respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services.
- Candidates should have experience accessing/managing ports, managing BiPAP/CPAP, administering blood products, maintaining IVs, tracheostomy care, wound management, and other specified skills.
